Nikon Corporation (Japan)  just recently announced the release of its Coolpix S-series model, Coolpix S5100 which incorporates advanced functions in a stylish design. Nikon surveys reveal that customers primarily complained about their camera’s inability to take satisfactory photos captured under low light conditions like not getting clear and sharp images under dim lighting and producing unnatural results when flash is on.

Now the good news is, Nikon Coolpix S5100 has been developed in response to these complaints by applying variety of Nikon technologies aimed at producing simple, blur-free capture at low light conditions including less noise at high sensitivities and introducing new flash control system for better and more natural effect.

Nikon Coolpix S5100 is equipped with a new function that enables the camera to automatically distinguish between hand-held shooting and tripod-mounted shooting and provide the optimum response to shooting conditions regardless of lighting levels.

Moreso, Coolpix S5100 ensures precise capture of those breath-taking once-in-a lifetime event in beautiful photos. Other interesting features include high-definition movie recording function (HD video at 720p), high-speed power-up, smart portrait function, 12.2-megapixels sensor, a 2.7-inch LCD display, a 5X optical zoom lens.

Nikon Coolpix S5100 is now out in the market at a retail price of $179.95 available in four different colors to choose from (black, blue, pink and purple.)
